The way WNW describes this is the top three "overcoats" are for browbone. The middle three "pearl" shades are for the lid, and two "matte" shades for defining
I am a HUGE fan of the WNW Color Icon line! However the "overcoats" in these palettes I am not a huge fan of. They have rather large glitter particles that have some major fall out. I could never imagine putting these shades on my brow bone, maybe an inner eye highlight or even on top of another shade, seeing how they're also rather sheer.
Lights, Camera, Attraction is probably my least favorite of the three. These are not colors I typically reach for in general and after swatching I was left with a less than pleasant result compared to most WNW Color Icons
A Great Glistener has a lot of shades that I reach for in them. While I like the pearl and matte shades again these shimmer overcoats are not something I can see myself using. They also don't seem to fit very well in this palette.
The overcoats took several layers to get a shade that you could actually see. The first two pearl shades I was not impressed with. They're quite similar once swatched. Although one is a grey and the other blue. The tarnished almost dirty gold/bronze shade is gorgeous. It is richly pigmented and the creamy texture I've come to know and love from WNW. I could see this shade work on most people. The matte shades are shades I'm sure most people will have in their collection. A matte black (although not the blackest) and matte chocolate brown. I'm almost positive that these two are the same shades in the I ❤️ Matte and Drinking a Glass of Shine palettes.
No Neutral Ground is without a doubt my favorite of the three. This had the most unique colors that I don't have a duplicate in another WNW palette, and I would imagine this would get a lot of use during this holiday season
These palettes retail for $4.99 but when I checked out at CVS they rang up as $5.19. Still for the price I think it's fair if you're a hoarder like me or you really enjoy the shades. Which ones will you be purchasing?
